For fresher/campus hiring, the process begins with a domain-specific test based on the role, followed by 2-3 rounds of interviews. For experienced/lateral hiring, there is a telephonic screening, followed by 2-3 rounds of interview.
Our focus during the selection process is not to put candidates in an uncomfortable for challenging situation, but to simply evaluate fitment for the role and the organization in terms of skills and attitude. Similarly, when a candidate requests for feedback, we believe in giving straight forward feedback, without sugarcoating anything, so the candidate can benefit from it when applying at other organizations.
We believe in ownership of work, and not in clocking a certain number of hours at the desk. That said, at the Formcept office, a typical workday starts at 9:30 am and ends at 6:30 pm.

For critical functions requiring close collaboration, we prefer that you work from our Bangalore office. However, on a case to case basis, we provide flexibility for employees in a way that they can work from their home towns during long vacations or for personal emergencies and family care.
Our salary structure is designed such that it is all practically a take-home, after the deduction of mandatory taxes. Beyond the salary, we offer health insurance cover for you and your immediate family. And life insurance cover for each employee. Besides all of these, we also offer ESOPs (Employee Stock Option/Ownership Plan) for every employee.
We don’t have a formal policy on dress codes. Business casuals in all kinds of Indian and Western outfits are acceptable.
